The nFEP film is the double-layered and transparent foil installed in the rack attached to the resin tank. It creates a clean way for the UV light to cure liquid resin during the whole printing process. The nFEP film requires replacement once it becomes bent, deformed, or perforated during printing or operation of the printer. Otherwise, the printer will not produce successful prints. Therefore, when your printer starts to produce low-quality objects and you notice irremovable signs of wear on the nFEP film surface, replace the film.
Phrozen’s PFA (nFEP) films are specifically designed to be long-lasting and allows users to print out high-quality 3D models multiple times without constantly worrying about changing the film. After printing a model, just simply clean the film and you’ll be ready for your next printing project!

nFEP is a specially treated FEP film that has a smoother and more delicate surface. Models printed with nFEP film will have lower viscosity levels, so the pulling force won’t be as strong during printing. This means that the success rate will be higher.
