A dental delivery unit or control unit acts as a hub for most air dental instruments, like Turbine, Fast Handpiece, Slow Hand Piece, Air-Water 3 way syringe. Delivery systems are necessary equipment for every dental operatory.
Table Top delivery unit Air-Water Syringe, High-Speed Turbine coupling. Includes Coupling for High-Speed Turbine Hand Piece, Foot Pedal to activate the Hand Piece, Booster Fresh Water Bottle for Water supply to Hand Piece and Air Water Syringe, Air Water Syringe, Air Pressure Regulator to Control the Air Flow into the complete unit, Air Pressure Gauge to check the Air Pressure supply to the Hand Piece, and Water Regulator to Regulate Water supply into the Hand Piece. The Unit comes with two hole connections. To use the same with 4 Hole Handpiece additional adapters are also available separately.
An optional Slow Speed Hand Piece connection is also available. A toggle switch allows selecting between the Fast & Slow Hand Piece. Compressed air 4~6 BAR is required to operate it.
It does not include any Dental turbine fast or slow hand Piece with the Unit. Hand Piece has to be purchased separately. It does not include a compressor.
Dental Drill Hand piece
A dental drill or handpiece is a hand-held, a mechanical instrument used to perform a variety of common dental procedures, including removing decay, polishing fillings, performing cosmetic dentistry, and altering prostheses. The handpiece itself consists of internal mechanical components that initiate a rotational force and provide power to the cutting instrument, usually a dental bur. It is common for a light source and cooling water-spray system to also be incorporated into certain handpieces; this improves visibility, accuracy and overall success of the procedure.
An adapter or converter allows a user to connect a 2 Hole borden dental handpiece to a 4 hole tubing meant for the 4 hole midwest tubing. And similarly vice-versa.
2 Hole to 4 Hole : This converts a 2 Hole borden Handpiece to fix on the 4 holes midwest coupling/tubing select 2 Hole to 4 Hole Adapter.
4 Hole to 2 Hole : This converts a 4 Hole Midwest handpiece to fix on the 2 holes Borden coupling/tubing select 4 Hole to 2 Hole Adapter.
